Click Create Account and follow the prompts. You can sign up with an email address or use a social login provider.

After signing in, navigate to the Admin panel and select Create League. You will set a league name, invite code, and optional settings. To join an existing league, use the invite code shared by the league administrator.

Our scoring system is designed to reward understanding of probability, not just picking winners. When you join a league, you're given a simulated starting balance (e.g., 10,000 units). For each game, you make a selection based on the provided odds, which reflect the implied probability of an outcome.

• Risk and Reward: If you select an underdog with +200 odds, you risk 100 units to potentially win 200. If you select a favorite at −150, you must risk 150 units to win 100. This mirrors real-world odds mechanics, teaching risk management.
• Profit/Loss Calculation: Your league balance fluctuates based on the outcome of your selections. Winning a selection on a +200 underdog adds 200 units to your balance, while losing it subtracts your 100-unit stake.
• Weekly Leaderboards: Standings are determined by each member's total simulated profit and loss (P&L). This creates a competitive environment focused on analytical skill and long-term profitability rather than single-game luck.

The goal is to grow your simulated balance by making analytically sound selections over the course of the season.

OwnTheLines displays advertising on content-rich public pages to support platform operations. Ads only appear on pages with substantive editorial content, not on login, registration, or tool-only screens.
